Siri Deva Khalsa

Siri Deva Singh Khalsa, 63, Espanola, left his body on Tuesday, December 1st. He was preceded in death by his parents Benjamin and Helen Shangold. Survived by sisters Gale Shangold and Joan Shangold, sons Sat Darshan Singh Khalsa, Harimandir Singh Khalsa, daughter Guru Shabd Kaur Khalsa, and grandson Amrit Hari Singh Khalsa. He was a prominent and beloved member of the Espanola Sikh Community. He was also a Yoga Teacher to many in the greater New Mexico Community. His kindness and warmth was noted by all that he met, his humor brought joy to many, and his sense of adventure never wavered. He has now embarked on the greatest adventure and will be dearly missed. Memorial services were held on Friday Dec. 4th and Saturday Dec. 5th at the Rivera Funeral home and the Sikh Gurdwara in Espanola.
