Sofia Romero

SOFIA (SOPHIE) ROMERO 93, lifelong resident, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at home with family by her side. She is preceded in death by her parents Petronila Lucero and Agustin Garcia; husband Valentin Romero; son David Romero; brothers: Esquipula Garcia and Genaro Garcia; and sister Mary Baca. Sophie is survived by her daughters: Angie Anaya (Michael) and Stella Romero; and nieces and nephews. The family wishes to thank her Nurses and Aides from PMS Hospice for their loving care. A Visitation will be held at St. Anne Catholic Church on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at 6 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. A Mass will be celebrated at St. Anne Catholic Church on Friday, March 1, 2013 at 11 a.m. with burial to follow at the Rosario Cemetery. Pallbearers will be: Gilbert Romero, Henry Garcia, George Garcia, Robert Ortega, Michael Ortega, Glenn Baca and Michael Anaya.
