STANLEY "STANLITOS" VIGIL JR. Stanley"Stanlitos" Vigil Jr., of Pecos, NM Passed away on Tuesday, November 7th 2017. He was 50 years old and was born May 21st 1967 to Stanley Vigil Sr. and Alice (Rico) Vigil. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Liberato and Rebecca Vigil. His maternal grandparents Ernesto and Cesaria Rico, Uncle Michael Rico, Auntie Mildred Herrera, Cousin Ronald Herrera and Niece Jordyn Garcia. He is survived by his parents Stanley Vigil Sr. (Marylou), Alice (Rico) Vigil (Eduardo), Sister Darci D. Vigil (Joseph) and Brother Clarence Joseph Vigil (John). Wife of 16 years Bernice Vigil, Sons Gabriel, Michael and Dominic and Daughter Brianna. God daughter Tristyn Garcia, Niece Dream and Nephews KJ and Adrian. Step Sisters: Ginny Vigil (Peter), Victoria Roybal (Kevin), Rosanne Valencia. Step Brother Rey Valencia (Michelle) and many step nieces and nephews. Father and Mother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Marquez. He is also survived by numerous cousins, extended family and special friends. Memorial Mass Participants : Paul Romero Ronald Romero Joseph Romero Kimberly Romero Kevin Roybal Rey Valencia Peter Vigil Will Varela Stanley resided in Albuquerque, NM with his wife and children. He was a valued and long term employee of NMDOT for over 15 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping with his family and friends and just being outdoors all together, even if it was just "grillin with a nice cold beer". Mostly Stan loved spending time with his wife and children and was well involved in coaching and training and supporting his son's in their choices of sports. Stanley was known for his wild sense of humor and a contagious laugh. He worked hard at everything he did and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He will forever be missed and thought of each day by those that knew and loved him and even by those that didn't know him but helped us in our search. He will never be forgotten nor will he ever be replaced. The memories we each have of him will live on forever. A Rosary will be held at 9:00 am with a Memorial Mass following immediately after the Rosary at 10:00 am on Saturday, May 5th 2018 at St. Anthony's Parish in Pecos , NM.
