Statson Edmunds Jr.

Stetson Carpenter Edmunds, Jr., 70, of Arroyo Seco passed away on January 12, 2008. He retired after 32 years from the US Forest Service where he served as head of timber management and the fire staff for Kit Carson National Forest Service. He received his Bachelors Degree in Forestry from State University of New York at Syracuse. Stetson was a member of Phi Delta Theta. He is survived by his children, Helena C. Faherty (Kevin) of Pennsville, NJ, Yvonne M. Keeton (Jerry) of Ozark Alabama, Stetson William Edmunds of Taos, Peggy Jean Hoffman (Bill) of Sauget, Illinois, sister, Sally E. Sharp (Dr. Gordon C. Sharp) of Columbia, MO, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Rivera Chapel. A gathering of friends will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2008 at 4 PM at the **Alley Cantina.
