STEVEN DEAN THIEL. 4/1/1968-3/14/2024

 It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved brother, son, uncle, and great uncle, Steve Thiel, at the age of 55. He is survived by his loving mother Martha E. Thiel, brother’s Bryan and Chuck Thiel, sister-in-law Darlene Thiel, niece’s Crystal and Courtney Thiel, and great niece’s and nephew’s Lily Valdez, Bella Valdez, Nathan Morgan, and Zayden Morgan. We all will miss Steve sorely as his presence and outgoing spirit, love and kindness are matched by no other. He is preceded in death by his father Charles S. Thiel and nephew Casey Vincent Vernon Valdez.

Steve graduated from Santa Fe High School and was also a student at the American Kenpo Karate Academy where he earned his 3rd degree black belt.

Service for Steven Thiel will be held April 13, 2024 at the Rivera Family Funeral Home in Santa Fe at 1pm in the Kiva Chapel.
