Steven A. Waterstreet, age 67, passed away on Thursday, January 7 2016 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Santa Fe from complications of pneumonia after a long battle with lung cancer. He was born in St. Louis MO on November 5 1948 to Irving and Margaret Clark Waterstreet. He received his BS at Sacramento State College where he majored in environmental studies, and then served 2 years in the US Navy on board the USS Mahan. Steve worked as a park ranger in Idaho before moving to Angel Fire and working at Marvin's Glass. He then became a successful business owner (Design Glass) for over 25 years. Steve is survived by his beloved wife of 12 years, Ginny, along with his children Ericka, Nathan, Ryan, and Brooke. He was very close to his stepchildren Michael (and Stacy) Butler of Fort Worth TX along with their 2 children, and Shelby (and Benjamin) Walker of Portland OR. Also honoring his memory are his brothers, Ronald (Buzz) and wife Sandy and family in Northridge CA; Mike in Woodland Hills CA, and sister, Linda in Marysville WA. Steve was passionate about being in nature, he enjoyed gardening, camping, boating, and fishing, as well as many canoe trips with friends. Most of all he was content to spend quality time with those he loved, showing us all how to live with peace and grace. He will be sorely missed.
