Sue Atzberger

It is with both heavy hearts and joyful memories that we announce the passing of Sue Atzberger, who left us on October 17th, 2024, at the age of 82. A cherished mother and grandmother, Sue was known for her gentle spirit and unwavering kindness. Born on June 9th, 1942 in Cleveland, Ohio.

Sue dedicated her life to her family and community. A resident of Eagle Nest, New Mexico, since 1974, she had a unique gift for making everyone she met feel special and adored. 

She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Paul; her beloved children, David and Joseph; her grandchildren, Kelsie, Slade, and Dillon; and a multitude of friends who will forever hold her memory close and carry forward her legacy of love. 

A funeral mass will be held on October 30th, 2024 at 10:00am at St. Mel's Catholic Mission Church in Eagle Nest, New Mexico. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or St. Mel's Catholic Mission Church, honoring her memory and the values she instilled in all of us.
