Susanita L. Ortiz

Susanita L. Ortiz – Age 95 a resident of Albuquerque, formally of Nambe passed away on Wednesday, July 12th, 2006. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jose de la luz Ortiz; parents: Juan M. Lujan and Franciquita; father and mother-in-law, Antonio Ortiz y Rivera and Pablita; brothers: Juanito and wife Helen Lujan and Pat Lujan. May their souls rest in peace. Susanita was born on January 18, 1911 to Juan M. and Franciquita Lujan, she married Jose de la luz Ortiz on February 12, 1934. She is survived by her children: Leonard and wife Ingrid, Edward and wife Lorraine, Joe L. and wife Kathy, Robert J. and wife Ethel, Vangie Archuleta and husband Bob, Gilbert and wife Rose, Lucy Fresquez and husband Bob, Erlene Ortiz and Eugene White, William , Charles and wife Cindy, Gloria Ortiz and Anthony J.; sisters and brothers: Flossie Ortiz, Mary Abed and husband R., Medardo Lujan and wife Frances, Bernardo Lujan and wife Annie, Joe Lujan and wife Erma, and Helen Lujan; 20 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends. A rosary will be recited on Thursday, July 13th, 2006 at 7:00 p.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Nambe. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, July 14th, 2006 at 10:30 a.m. at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Nambe with Father Flavio Santillanes officiating. Burial will follow at the Nambe Catholic Cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers: Tom Ortiz, Joseph Archuleta, Rob and Patrick Ortiz, Jason Fresques, and Martin and Charlie Ortiz. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Steve Ortiz, John Archuleta, Tim and Brian Fresques and Jeff Ortiz. The family of Susanita L.
