Our Lord took our beloved mother, Susanna V. Trujillo home on October 13, 2021.

Susanna V. Trujillo, resident of Santa Fe, NM, passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. She was born March 28, 1938 and was preceded by her beloved husband, Heriberto V. Trujillo, son, Gary Anthony Trujillo, Grandsons: Joseph Anthony Chavez and Andrew Trujillo.

She is survived by her children, Geraldine Barela (Richard), Gilbert V. Trujillo (Amanda), Gabriel Trujillo (Paula), Angel in heaven, Gary Anthony Trujillo, Gregory Trujillo, Ginger Nunez (Victor) Gretchen Armijo (Joseph), her cherished grandchildren, Michael Barela (Nicole), Susan Faye Brianna Trujillo, angel in heaven, Andrew Trujillo, Breann Trujillo, Victor Jr. Nunez (Vanessa), Miguel Nunez, angel in heaven, Joseph Anthony Chavez, Mariah Castillo (Paul), Susie Gerri Trujillo; and beloved great grandchildren, Alycia Delosantos, Layla Fletcher, Miguel Jr., Valena Nunez, Verenzo Nunez, Paul Castillo III, and Aubrie Rain Castillo; beloved sister, Frances Lopez, and dearly loved, sister-in-law; Diana Garcia.

She loved her family dearly, and was also very loved by her family and friends. Susie will always be remembered for her loving, caring and thoughtful acts of kindness, and she would always put others ahead of herself to help her family and others. She was well known for cooking for anyone that entered her home, and especially making and serving her delicious and legendary tortillas. Everyone was always welcome in her home and could count on having a friend for life.

Service will be held at Rivera’s Family Funeral Home, Santa Fe, NM. Music from 5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. and rosary/prayer service commencing at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, November 15, 2021. Burial will take place at National Cemetery at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, November 16, 2021. Please be at mortuary by 9:45 a.m. for procession to cemetery.Arrangements are being handled by Rivera Family Funeral Home.
