Suzanne J Mcnamara

Suzanne J. McNamara, 61, of Santa Fe, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 13, 2017. Suzanne was born December 23, 1955 in Waterloo, Iowa, the daughter of Carol and Frank Mirs. Her parents have preceded her in death. She and Rod McNamara were married on May 29, 1983 in Jefferson, Iowa. They moved to Santa Fe in July of 1987 where she worked as a board certified Histo-Tech. She worked for St. Vincent Hospital for 29 years, then recently was employed with Tricore in Albuquerque. Suzanne and Rod’s son, Chad, was born April 7, 1997 and he was the love of her life. Her passions were cooking and her cats, with occasional forays to thrift shops for designer label clothing and shoes. A celebration of Suzanne’s life will be held at 4:00 PM Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at the Rivera Family Kiva Chapel in Santa Fe, with Rev. Hollis Walker officiating . Suzanne’s family requests memorial contributions be directed in her memory to any pet shelter.
