Sylvia N. Hollen, widow of the Rev. Norman V. Hollen passed away on November 23, 2009 in Taos, NM. She was a native of Lakeland, FL, lived in Fort Worth, TX for many years where she attended Southern College of Commerce and worked part time as secretary at St. Annes Episcopal Church where her husband served as Rector. She enrolled in the art history class at the Kimball Art Museum in Ft. Worth, TX and was a Docent there working in childrens programs for 17 years. At retirement she and her husband moved to Taos, NM where they were members of St. James Episcopal Church. She is survived by her son, Jay Scott Jordan of Taos, sister, Vivienne Bittmann, niece, Carla Satterfield and grand nephews of St. Petersburg Beach, FL, Jeri Carson, Mark Hollen, Borger, TX.
Memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 05, 2009 at 1 PM at St. James Episcopal Church in Taos. Memorial contributions may be made to St. James Episcopal Church, 5794 NDCBU, Taos, NM 87571.
