Teodorita Romero

Teodorita G. Romero, 90, of Penasco passed away in her home surrounded by her family on October, 14, 2021.  Teodorita was a devout Catholic who taught her family to love God.  She was a devoted caregiver for all of her children and  grandchildren and was considered a grandma to many and  loved by everyone who knew her.  Teodorita loved to cook, bake and sew.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years,  Macario.  She was also preceded in death by daughter, Gloria Montoya, son, Herbert Romero,  granddaughter, Michelle Montoya and parents, Levi and Carlota Gonzales. She is survived by her sons, Dion Romero, Bobby Romero (Carmen), Gilbert Romero (Marcie), Lawrence Romero (Agnes), Julian Romero (Antoinette) and daughters, Carlotta Martinez (Ralph), Josephine Romero and Elaisa Romero.  She is also survived by 37 grandchildren and 54 great-grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. 

A rosary will be recited 5 pm Monday, October 18 and the Funeral Mass at 11 am Tuesday, October 19th at San Antonio de Padua Church in Penasco.  Interment will follow at the San Acacio Cemetery in Penasco.
