Teresa Soliz

Teresa Soliz passed away peacefully on June 19, 2021 in the early morning surrounded by her family at her home. Teresa was born in Alice, Texas on October 15, 1934, where she was raised with her mother, father, brothers and sisters (Alma, Irma, Gloria and Gonzalo Jr) whom she loved dearly. She moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 1969 with her husband and children. Teresa was the embodiment of God, love and beauty and anyone that would meet her would see it in her smile. She was the heart and soul of her family and loved her husband Santos deeply. Together they built a beautiful life that was filled with love and happiness. Anyone that met Teresa could see how much her family meant to her, the love she had for her family radiates in her children, grand-children and great grandchildren.

Teresa is preceded in death by her parents Gonzalo and Otelia Blanco, her husband Santos Soliz, her daughter Daisy, Son Don and granddaughter Jennifer and her dog Princess. Brothers Joe Blanco, Eddie B., Jessie B, Amando B and sister Martha B Maltos.

She is survived by her son Amador his children Jeff, Chad, Ryan, Adrianna, Madeline. Her daughter Elsa and her children and grandchildren; Bobby (Roberta), Michelle (Jude), Earl, Sam Mark, Shawnelle and Derrick. Her daughter Santos (Ray). Her Son Amado. Her son Rene (Paula) and his daughter Renee. Her daughter Chriselda (Eugene) and her children Crystal, Daniel (Heather) and Roy (Victoria) and her grandchildren Dajah, Avianna, and Aubree. Her daughter Bertha (Pete) and her children Xavier (Leticia) and Patrice (Matthew) and her grandchildren Neveah, Honesty, Romeo, Zane, Zia and Michael. Her nephew Robert, who never missed a call to her. Teresa had many more grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews that she loved. Her dog Chico, will miss her and was always at her side.

Serving the family as pallbearers will be: Amador, Rene, Amado, Albert and Xavier.

Respectfully, the family will be having a private gathering to honor Teresa’s memory and would like love and prayers from afar.
