Teresita Rodriguez

Teresita de Jesus Garcia (Tere) Rodriguez 85, of Espanola, passed away on June 21, 2008 at the family home. Tere was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend. She was an active member of her church. She is preceded in death by her husband Jose A. Rodriguez, beloved daughter Teresa, Sister Lila Valdez, brothers Manual N. Garcia, Elizardo Garcia, parents Efren and Matilda Garcia of Hernandez and grandson John Ulibarri. She is survived by her children, Patricia Holovka and her husband John of Sandia Park, Dolores Maes and her husband James H. of Albuquerque, Paul Forrest Rodriguez and his wife Sue of Henderson NV, Roy R. Rodriguez and his wife Dolly of Espanola, Floyd A. Rodriguez and his wife Irene of Espanola, Joseph A. Rodriguez of Espanola, sister Socorro Herrera and husband Lorenzo, 8 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren, nephews, nieces and a host of in-laws and friends. A Rosary will be recited on Tuesday June 24 at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated at 11:30 am on Wednesday June 25 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Espanola with Burial to take place at The Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:00 pm. Assisting the Rodriguez family as pallbearers will be: Roland Valdez, Eric Rodriguez, James H. Maes, Jr., Sean Melville, Javier Cabrera, Mario Herrera, Jeremy Herrera and Virgil Valdez.
