Theresa Montano

Theresa E. Montano was born June 1, 1951. Surrounded by her family and friends our beloved Theresa was called to be with our Lord on July 26, 2015. Theresa was a caretaker and spent most of her life loving and caring for the elderly and disabled, which was something she truly enjoyed and did up until the day she passed. She was an active member of St John the Baptist Catholic Church and a member of the Coro of the Holy Family led by Fabiola Gonzales. She was a loving sister, aunt, niece and friend. She was preceded in death by her mother Josie Trujillo, step father Max Trujillo, sister Irene Rivera, great great aunt Grace Ortiz and nephew Nicholas Montano III. She is survived by her siblings Gene Montano, Nick Montano (Linda), Richard Montano (Irene), Mary Nuanez (John), Frank Robert Trujillo (Cathy), her father Eugene Montano (Lela), half siblings Frank, Cathy, Michael, Joseph, Roberta and their families, aunt Maida Larribas (Edward), uncle Steve Cordova (Isabel), sister in law Dora Montano and brother in law Mario Rivera, she is also survived by 1 godchild Liza Romero, nieces and nephews, Michael, Donna (Brad), Marie, Richard (Gloria), Ronnie, Monica, Liza (Gabe), Joseph, Jenette (Jonathon), Yvonne, and Angela (Roni), great nieces and nephews Stephen, Greg, Tony, Roberta, Dominic, Lil Gabe, Andy, Daniel, Adam, AJ, Mikaili, Joaquin, baby Noah, Audriana, Natasha, Richard III, Stephanie, Kimberly, Alicia, Daniel, Ronnie Jr.,Jose Michael, Miquela, Anthony, Mariah, and Jovanna, great great nieces and nephews Laneah, Lorenzo and Matthew. Theresa was loved by many special friends especially Mary Quintana, Georgia Cruz, Paula Guiterrez, Adrian and Loretta Chavez. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Honorary Pallbearers are Daniel Castillo and Mikaili Romero. A rosary will held Thursday July 30, 2015 at 7:00 pm at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1301 Osage Avenue. A burial mass will be held Friday July 31, 2015 at 9:00 am at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1301 Osage Avenue, burial service will be at Memorial Gardens 417 Rodeo Rd. immediately following the mass.
