Therese Zucal

Therese S. Zucal, a resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico age 51 passed away January 15, 2016. Therese was born in Santa Fe to Olga and James O. Zucal July 13, 1964. Therese is preceded in death by both paternal and maternal grandparents and other extended family members. She is survived by her parents Olga and James O. Zucal, brother James Zucal (Heather Scholl), sister Jacqueline Zucal as well as many loving relatives whom she loved dearly and was very much loved by them. Therese graduated from the University of N.M. with a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts and Photography (the passion of her life). She was an avid photographer involved in the Arts in the community and worked in local galleries in Santa Fe, N.M. She was loving, generous and kind-hearted and had a great sense of humor. Always ready to help those who were facing a difficult time. She loved and valued the family and many dear and special friends; Mr. and Mrs. Leroy Ramirez and LeiRae, Ruby C. Valdez and Tessie Lopez “her spiritual mothers”, and dear friends; LeiRae, Carmela Padilla, Joyce, Bernice and Camille. Please join us in celebrating Therese’s life on Friday, January 29, 2016 at 9:00 a.m. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 1301 Osage Ave., Santa Fe, N.M. 87505 We would like to thank the Carmelite Community for their prayers and also the Rosary Group at Cristo Rey Church which she attended when she was able to do so.
