Thomas Eppie Martinez

Thomas Eppie Martinez – Age 24 a resident of Santa Cruz passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2007. He was preceded in death by his grandmother, Amy Chavez. May her soul rest in peace. He is survived by his infant son, Matthew Eppie Archuleta-Martinez; father, Tommy Martinez and companion Claudine Romereau; mother, Cheryl Chavez; sisters: Tamara Martinez, Tanaya Martinez and Raven Martinez; step-brothers: Brian and Kenny Romereau; step-sisters: Karlie and Briannah Romereau; grandparents: Eppie and Rose Martinez of Santa Cruz; fiancé, Ashley Archuleta of El Llano; aunt, Yolly Martinez of Santa Cruz; uncles: Tim Martinez and fiancé Myra Maestas, Chris McDermitt and Michael Hooper all of Santa Cruz and Peter Velarde of Chimayo; close cousins: Carmelita Romero, Brandon Martinez, Alysia Martinez, Robert and Adolfo Chavez and Steven Portillo; great-aunts and uncles: Mary Montoya and husband Pat, Isabelle V. Torres, and Alice Gallegos and husband Robert all of Santa Cruz, Eliza Cordova and husband Reynaldo of Chimayo, Abel Martinez of Santa Fe, Tony Vigil and wife Olympia and Jose Vigil and wife Esther all of Albuquerque; father and mother-in-law, Leo and Loretta Archuleta; brother-in-law, Brandon Archuleta; and numerous other relatives and friends. A wake service will be held on Thursday, August 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Block-Salazar Mortuary. Mass of the Resurrection will be held on Friday, August 24 at 1:00 p.m. at La Iglesia de Santa Cruz de la Cañada. Burial will follow at the Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery. Serving as Pallbearers are Anthony Trujillo, Chris McDermitt, Brandon Archuleta, Robert Chavez, Adolfo Chavez, Michael Hooper, Peter Velarde and Saul Medina.
