Thomas Hill Torr

Thomas Hill Torr 73 resident of Santa Fe, NM passed on December 2, 2018. He was born on March 27, 1945, in South Bend, Kansas to Madonna Louella Maher and Harry Hill Torr. Thomas is preceded in death by his father: Harry Torr, mother: Madonna Torr, brother: Jerry Torr and brother-in-law: Steve Richardson. He is survived by his spouse: Teresa Torr of Santa Fe, NM, daughter: Bernadette Torr of Santa Fe, NM, brother: Larry Torr (Rosalie) from Albuquerque, NM, sister Sharon Richardson from L.A., CA, sister-in-laws: Grace Thornberry, Dolores Romero and Mary Alice Romero all from Santa Fe, NM, and many nephews and nieces. Thomas was in the Army during Vietnam War-Honorably discharged in 1969 with Good Conduct Medal and Certificates in Rifle Markmanship and Communications Specialist. Thomas was employed and retired from Dept, of Corrections in 1990, he worked for various Security Firms until his second heart attack in January 2013. He enjoyed traveling in Europe/US, and he was a football fan of the Colts. Pallbearers: Patrick Romero, Bryan Valdivia, Tommy Romero, Leandro Cruz, Victor Saiz and Frank Jacoby. A Rosary will be recited on Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Kiva Chapel of Light located in Santa Fe, NM. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. at Santa Maria De La Paz followed by interment at 11:15 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
