Toby Garcia

Toby V. Garcia, born April 28,1953 in Canjilon, NM passed away peacefully at his home on January 17,2022 at the age of 68.

Toby was a licensed plumber for the majority of his life. His most recent place of employment was with Los Alamos National Laboratories. Toby was a hard-working and creative individual that did not take no for an answer. Most days you could find him working and building with wood or metal around the house. If you were unable to find him at home chances were he was out in the forest camping, fishing, and enjoying all that the outdoors has to offer. 

Toby is preceeded in death by his parents, Tobias and Amalia Garcia, his brother Cresencio “Chris” Garcia, nephews James, Michael, Troy Garcia and sister-in-law Sally Garcia.

He is survived by his Brother Jose Fidencio Garcia and Sister Mary Garcia.  His children Rudy N Garcia, and Toby Garcia. Grandchildren Mia Ramirez, Isabella Garcia, and Isaiah Garcia. Nieces, Jennifer Chavez, and Angel Garcia. Nephews Patrick Garcia, Jose Fidencio Jr, and Randy Garcia. He is also survived by numerous great nephews and nieces, countless other relatives and friends.

The Garcia Family would like to extend their gratitude to his medical care team, and give a special thanks to his caregiver, Charlene Martinez.

A memorial service will be held at Rivera Family Funeral in Espanola on Monday, February 21st at 2 pm.
