Tomas Garcia, Sr.

Tomas Garcia, Sr., 99 of Ranchos de Taos passed away on March 26, 2008. He is preceded in death by wife, Eligia Garcia, children, Tomas Garcia, Jr., Francis Garcia, Mike Garcia, Gilbert Garcia, and Viola Garcia, grandchildren, Robert Garcia, Mark Tafoya Jr., Mary Ann Garcia, and Sammy Gurule, son-in-law, Ernest Vargas and daughter-in-law, Dora Garcia. He is survived by his children, Corine Vargas of Arroyo Hondo, Esther Garcia of Michigan, Leroy Garcia (Esther) of Ranchos de Taos, Rose Tafoya (Max) of Talpa, Margaret G. Montoya (Atilano) of El Prado, Gloria Garcia of Ranchos de Taos and longtime friend, Corina Cardenas. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great and great great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends. Rosary was recited on March 27, 2008 at San Francisco de Asis Catholic Church. Funeral mass was held on March 28, 2008 at San Francisco de Asis Church with interment at the Jesus Nazareno Cemetery in Ranchos De Taos.
