Tony Baca

Antonio Jose Baca, also known as Tony, passed away on September 26, 2023, in Santa Fe, NM. He was 29 years old. Tony was born on February 3, 1994, in Santa Fe, and he was a beloved son, brother, and friend. Tony was a fun-loving guy who enjoyed music, theater, art, and playing Guitar Hero. He had a passion for creativity and expressed himself through various artistic endeavors. Tony's vibrant personality and zest for life made him a joy to be around. In his educational journey, Tony attended Kearney Elementary School and later graduated from Santa Fe High School. He furthered his education at Carrington College, where he pursued his nursing degree. Tony is survived by his father Greg Baca, sisters Amee (Ryan) Garcia, Melanie (Dale) Haworth, and Vanessa Baca, brothers Jake (Jenn) Baca and Gregory Baca, as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother Anita Baca, uncles JJ Jaramillo and Pat Jaramillo, nephew Ezekiel Behrends Baca, niece Estrella Rodriguez, maternal grandparents Sal Jaramillo and Priscilla Jaramillo, paternal grandparents Alfred and Rita Baca, and aunts Roberta Baca, Margie Jaramillo, and SallyAnn Jaramillo along with his cousin Isaiah Baca. Tony's family will forever cherish the memories they shared with him and the love he brought into their lives. A Rosary service will be held on October 3, 2023, at 6:00 PM at Rivera Family Funeral Home in Santa Fe. A Celebration of Life will take place on October 4, 2023, at Noon, also at Rivera Family Funeral Home. The funeral home has been entrusted with the arrangements, and their compassionate staff will assist the family during this difficult time. Rivera Family Funeral Home is located in Santa Fe, NM.
