Trina Garcia

Trina O. Garcia 62, of El Prado passed away on October 5, 2008. She owned and operated the Questa Café for many years. She was also a cook at La Cocina de Taos, El Pueblo Café and the Taos Living Center. She is preceded in death by her father, Felix Romero, brothers, William and Clifford Romero of Penasco, daughter, Estella Garcia, mother and father in-law, Ismael and Annie Oakeley Garcia and grandson, Ellis Garcia III. She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Ellis Ismael Garcia, Sr, daughters, Juanita Marquez (Uvaldo) Georgina Chavez (Floyd), Esther Garcia of Questa, sons, Ellis Jr. Garcia (Blanca), and Paul Garcia (Victoria) of Colorado Springs. She is also survived by her mother, Cleotilde Romero of Vadito, brothers Felix Romero (Maria) of Grants, Alberto Romero (Olivia) of Vadito, sister Merlinda Archuleta (Roger) of Vadito, 18 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, sister in laws, Dr. Cecilia Romero, Terry Romero (Marvin), Doris Montoya (Ernesto), Bernie Romero (Nicolas), Susie Garcia and many other relatives and friends. Rosary will be recited on Friday, October 10, 2008 at 7 PM at Rivera Chapel. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11, 2008 at 2 PM at the First Presbyterian Church in Taos.
