Vanessa Yvette Martinez, 42, of Taos was given her wings and taken home to be with our heavenly father on March 18, 2018. She was surrounded by her loving family. She is preceded in death by grandparents, Epimenio and Margarita Medina and Bernabe and Rose Martinez, uncles, David Medina and Reuben E. Martinez. Vanessa is survived by her mother, Patricia and Michael Ninneman, father, Larry B. Martinez, sister, Gina Apodaca (Derek), Diego Martinez, Xitlaly Martinez, Stephanie Madrid, John Ninneman (Maria), Jenine Ninneman and Jamie Ninneman (Donna), nieces and nephews, Angel and Haily Apodaca, Liam Martinez, Elisa and Lena Ninneman, Tyler Crump, Isabella, Ava and Alexa Ninneman, special love giving cousin, Bonnie Chacon, many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 26, 2018 at 6 PM at Rivera Chapel in Taos. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at 10 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Taos with interment to follow at the Miera Family Cemetery.
