Verne J. Kallejian, PhD passed away peacefully at his home in Santa Fe, New Mexico on January 12, 2008. He is survived by Martha, his wife and her family, cousins, Gene Kevorkian and his family, Eleanor Hauger and her sons, Brad Boyajian and his family. Being a World War II veteran permitted Verne the ability to complete his academic training at UCLA graduating as a Clinical Psychologist. His career included being the Director of Education for the American Hospital Association, a professor for the Leadership Training program at UCLA and many years of practice in the private and business sectors. He was well respected throughout his years of practice and personal life for having the ability to always make you feel accepted. He will be missed greatly by his wife Martha for the support, guidance, love and friendship they shared throughout their 35 years of marriage. A special thank you is acknowledged to his niece, 'Prudy' for her constant love and support offered to him. A Mass of Celebration will be offered at Cristo Rey Church on Wednesday January 16, 2008 at 11:00 am with interment to follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, Martha and Verne request a donation be made to Cristo Rey Church Restoration foundation - a worthy cause each of them supported.
