In Loving Memory of Vicente  

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Vicente Javier Mendoza , born on October 29, 2012, to parents Alex Mendoza and Estrella Urquidi. Vicente peacefully left us on February 11th,2025 surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.  

A kind and joyful soul, Vicente was known for his infectious smile, boundless energy, and his love for Sports cars, basketball and his animals, particularly his horses,chickens and was always talking about his beloved puppies — Foringa, Gizmo, Linda, and Junior. Vicente LOVED his basketball family and Coach Issac Romero (Felecia).  

He was a light in the lives of everyone who knew him and his warmth touched the hearts of many. Though his time with us was far too short, his impact was profound, and he will forever be remembered for his compassion, sense of humor, and bright spirit. 

Vicente is survived by his loving parents, Alex Mendoza and Estrella Urquidi, as well as Brother Efrain Mendoza, Sister Ruby Mendoza Brother Erik Mendoza, Maternal Grandparents,Josephine Martinez,Roberto Urquidi. Paternal Grandmother,Martha Najera, Maternal Aunts, Veronica Fierro (Mike), Vanessa Quintero, Ruby, Marbrisa, Maternal Uncles,Mario Urquidi, Jesus Urquidi, Alfonso Quintana, Adam Quintana Paternal Aunts, Azucena, Diana  Paternal Uncles Julian Mendoza,(Adilene) Daniel Medina,Iván Mendoza, Best Friends Angel ,Jordan & Derick & Kai along with lots of cousins and friends.  

Vicente is preceded in death by His puppy Foringa, Paternal Grandfather Javier Mendoza, Uncle Gustavo Javier Mendoza.

He will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. 

Viewing service will be held February 23 at River Family and Funeral in Santa Fe @ 5 pm with rosary to follow. Burial service will be held February 24, 2025 at our lady of Guadalupe church. 

Vicente may be gone from our sight, but he will forever remain in our hearts.
