Victor Lopez

Victor “47” Eloy Lopez age 73, a resident of La Joya, NM passed away February 7, 2017 due to natural causes. He was born on March 7, 1943 to Elias and Josefita Lopez. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Jesus, brothers-in law Phil Martinez and Isidro Armijo, special friend Edwin “Halloween” Lovato. He is survived by his sons Victor (Rebecca), Daniel, Victor E., and daughters Diane Roberson, Valerie Lopez, and Erica Tafoya (Andrew), twenty three grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brothers Orlando (Georgia), Fidel and Edward, sisters Annie Armijo, Mary Martinez, Lupe Prada (Benny), and Christine Salazar (Paul), numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and his special friend Chabby Encinias. He worked for Art Chavez Construction, Levi Rael Construction and Wolf Corporation. A rosary will be recited on Saturday, February 25 2017, at 9:00am at St. Anthony’s Church with the mass to follow at 10:00am and the burial to follow in the Pecos Cemetery.
