Victor Padilla

Victor R. Padilla Sr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 7th, 2021. He was a lifetime resident of Santa Fe, New Mexico.  Victor was born on September 11, 1951, to Bobby and Mary Padilla. He was employed with the Santa Fe County Highway Department where he exercised his expertise as a heavy machine operator for 20 years. He was formerly married to Dorothy Padilla and was the proud father of Victor Padilla Jr and to his daughter Liz Padilla. He also has 5 beautiful grandchildren that he boasted about every chance he got.

Victor loved life and you never saw him without a smile on his face. He loved his family immensely and thoroughly enjoyed his friends. He was a hard worker, and he had a positive attitude no matter what life threw his way. He loved to hunt and fish and enjoyed the outdoors. He is loved by many and will be greatly missed.

Victor is preceded in death by Jose “Bobby” Padilla (Father), Mary Padilla (Mother), Priscilla Padilla (Sister) and Raymond Padilla (Brother)

Victor is survived by Dorothy Padilla, (Former Wife), Victor Padilla Jr (Amy Baca-Padilla), Liz Padilla (Carlos Tapia), Harmony Padilla, Paris Padilla, Dominique Padilla, Malakai Tapia and Everleigh Tapia (Grandchildren), Evelyn Chavez, Genny Duran, Leonard Padilla, Bernice Padilla, Anthony Padilla, Annjanette Padilla, Rosemary Narvaiz, Marylouise Jackson, Paul Padilla, Joseph Padilla, Leroy Padilla, Dianna Padilla, Patricia Padilla, Dorothy Padilla (Sisters and Brothers) and many nieces and nephews.
