Victor Vandersommen

Victor J. Vandersommen resident of Santa Fe, NM passed away on Sunday, August 17, 2014. He was born on June 11, 1935 in Elyria, Ohio. He retired after 20 years with the U.S. Navy. He served in the Korean and Vietnam War. He is preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Mabel E. Vandersommen, brothers, Clifford Vandersommen of Elyria, OH and Bob Vandersommen of Atlanta, GA, sister, Wanda Yearley of Elyria, OH. He is survived by Marcella Vandersommen, his sons: Anthony W. Vandersommen of Santa Fe, NM, Thomas A. Vandersommen, Victor J. Vandersommen both of California, grandchildren: Anthony P. Vandersommen of Arizona, Alicia Armijo of Santa Fe, and great grandson, Michael Joseph Vandersommen A full Military Interment will be held on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 9:45 a.m. at the Santa Fe National Cemetery.
