Viola Barela

Viola Barela, 88, of Rio Lucio passed away on December 04, 2010. She is preceded in death by her husband, Herson Barela, children, Pricilla, Virginia, infant son, Michael and Patrick Barela, grandsons, Patrick and Michael Barela, parents, Serapio and Bertha Duran, brother, Lalo Duran and sister, Josie Martinez. She is survived by her children, Nancy Trujillo of Seal Beach, CA, Larry Barela (Kathy) of Albuquerque, Boyd Barela of Penasco, Lou Ann Grisham (Mike) of Hereford, TX, Cathy Barela (Mike Sillings) of Edgewood, 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, siblings, Mary, Rosie, Dolly, Deena, Patsy, James, Louie, Serapio Jr. and Bobby Duran and many other relatives. Rosary was recited on December 06, 2010. Funeral mass was held on December 07, 2010. Both services were held at San Antonio de Padua Catholic Church in Penasco. Interment was held at the family cemetery in Rio Lucio.
