Violinda “Lindy” Glover, 82, of Santa Fe, passed away Tuesday, January 15, 2019. She was born in Santa Fe on April 2. 1936, the daughter of Lucinda Thompson Barela and Jose Antonio Barela.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Regina Hernandez; and three brothers, Frank Thompson, Lee Barela, and Tony Barela.
She is survived by her daughters, Lucy Vigil and Flora Lopez and husband Richard; her son, Peter Glover; three sisters, Rosina Cook and husband Robert, Connie McAlister , and Polly Lopez; and a brother, Manuel Barela and wife Bridgett. Also surviving are grandchildren Victoria Vigil, Anita Lopez, Michael Vigil, Andres Lopez, and Mark Vigil; great grandchildren, Angelica Lopez, Angel Lopez, Santiago Lopez Valencia, Killian Padgett, Logan Padgett, and Lia Vigil; and 24 nieces and nephews.
Viewing will begin at 7:00 pm Thursday, January 24, 2019 at St. Anne Catholic Church, where a Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm Thursday evening. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday, January 25, 2019 at 10:00 am at St. Anne Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Rosario Cemetery. Pallbearers will include Angel Lopez, Maurice McAlister, Billy McAlister, Henry Montoya, Michael Vigil, and Mark Vigil
