Walter Kraul

Walter Dean Kraul, born January 2, 1954, died peacefully at home, December 27, 2008. Walter was born in Santa Fe and was currently living in Villanueva , New Mexico. He was a silversmith by trade. Walter is proceeded in death by his two grandmothers Juanita Garcia and Edna Thornton, brother-in-law Felix Martinez and niece Jasmine Mares. Walter is survived by his mother Patricia Kraul and father Edward Kraul, two sons; Joseph and Benjerman, who live in Massachusetts, two sisters Sandra Mares and husband Edward, and Miquela Martinez, two brothers Edward Kraul Jr., and wife Joyce, and John Kraul and wife Gina. Walter is also survived by five nephews; Kenneth Baca, Michael Mares, and daughters Latisha and Jodessa, Patrick Mares and wife Melyssa and son Patrick Jr., Jason Mares and wife Erica and daughter Emeralda and son Vincent, and Johnathan Mares, four nieces Amanda Sanchez and husband Ruben, April Kraul, Tracy Mares, and son Domenick, Victoria Mares and son Matthew. A Visitation will begin at 4:00pm on Tuesday, December 30, 2008 at Santa Fe Funeral Options Chapel with the rosary to begin at 7:00. A Funeral Mass will begin at 10:00am on Wednesday, December 31, 2008 at Rosario Chapel with entombment to follow at the Rosario Mausoleum. Reception will be at the VFW in Santa Fe. Pallbearers will include Kenneth Baca, Patrick Mare, Jason Mares, Johnathan Mares, Paul Pacheco and Mark Lilas. Honorary Pallbearers will be Martha Baca, Michael Mares, Amanda Sanchez, and April Kraul.
