William "Billy" E. Gallegos

WILLIAM E. GALLEGOS (Billy) October 9, 1942 - February 7, 2025 of Santa Fe, NM passed away on February 7, 2025 at his home in Santa Fe, NM at the age of 82 surrounded by his loving family. He went to his heavenly home to be with our Lord and Savior. He was born on October 9, 1942 in Santa Fe, NM to Dora and Elfido Gallegos. Billy is survived by his loving wife Margie Gallegos, daughters Sheila Gallegos (Rick), Shirley Sandoval (Paul), sons William Gallegos Jr., Steven Gallegos (Crystal), grandchildren Kathleen, Derrick, Christina, Rico, Shantae, Alyssa, Joseph, Mariah, Kaylie, Aria, great grandchildren Issac, Uriah, Masson, Gracelynn, Anthony, Eliana, Micah, Liam and many other relatives and friends.

He served in the United States Army and fought in Vietnam. He was a very hard worker and a man of many talents. He was a great provider and taught his children many values. He enjoyed fishing, camping, bowling, horseshoes, spending time outdoors and spending time with his family whom he loved with all his heart. He was loved and respected by many.

He will be greatly missed.

A rosary will be held at St. Anne's Church on February 25, 2025 at 9AM followed by a funeral mass at 10AM.

The burial will take place at the National Cemetery on February 25, 2025 at 12:30PM.
