William (Bill) Shaw

William (Bill) Shaw, 68, passed away February 27, 2018 in Santa Fe, NM surrounded by his loved ones. He was born October 29, 1949 in Fort Wayne, Indiana to the late Alice Shaw Burtnett and Donald F. Shaw. He was a 1968 graduate of Elmhurst High School and a Veteran of the Navy during Vietnam War, after discharge from the Navy in 1972, Bill fell in love with the mountains in New Mexico and decided to make this his home. His wish is to have his ashes placed on his beloved mountains and the remainder in Manstee River in Michigan. He is survived by six daughters; Michelle Shaw, Melissa Shaw, Alison Shaw, Lori Shaw, Jessica Shaw and Rebecca Martinez, fourteen grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren, six sisters; Nancy (Shaw) Jarrett, Marcia (Shaw) Fagan, Kristine (Shaw) Paxton, Pamela (Shaw) Curnock, Patricia (Burtnett) Buck, Kelly (Burtnett) Boazman, and many beloved nieces and nephews. Rest in peace beloved brother.
