William Christison

William A. Christison passed away peacefully on June 13, 2010 after a brief illness. Bill was born August 24, 1928 to Helen and Leslie Christison in Boston, Massachusetts. He graduated from Princeton University in 1950 and served in the CIA from 1950 until his retirement in 1979. He moved to Santa Fe in 1979 following retirement and pursued several second careers, including as a computer programmer and in the last decade as a writer and activist for political causes, particularly that of Palestinian rights. Bill was preceded in death by his sons Robert and Thomas Christison. He is survived by his wife of 33 years Kathleen Christison; his daughter Lynda Christison Carlson, husband Stoney, and son Jacob; his daughter Judith Wooten, husband David, and son Daniel; and his son Eric Christison, wife Stacy, and son Peregrine. A memorial service was held on June 18, 2010 at the Rivera Family Funeral Options Chapel.
