Winnie Richey

Winnie Richey, age 77 of Los Alamos, NM. died peacefully on Monday September 21, 2009 in Los Alamos, NM. She was born on October 7, 1931 in Lamesa, TX. To the late Carl and Muriel St. Clair, and moved to Los Alamos from Houston, TX. In 1986. She met her dear husband Stokley Ward Richey and together they were married for over 56 years. Along with her husband, she is also survived by her children; Gayla Romero and husband David, Vickie Higdon and husband Rusty, Randy Richey and wife Julie, and Dale Richey, her beloved grandchildren: Justin Richey and wife Leah, Jeremy Smith and wife Vanessa, Taylor Gonzales and husband Robert, Eric Smith and wife Gabrielle, Robby Richey, Chelsea Lucas and husband Stephen, Patricia Espino and husband Manuel, James Woods and Jesse Richey, as well as eight great-grandchildren. Her siblings include: Shirley Wooten and husband Doyle, Bob St. Clair and wife Trudy, Lois Wilfinger, and Larry St. Clair. A memorial gathering to commemorate her life will be held on Saturday September 26th at 12:30 PM at The kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witnesses located at 4542 Yucca in Los Alamos. The family wishes to give special thanks to her doctors, the staff, nurses and nurses aides at Sombrillo and Rehabilitation for the excellent care they have given to Winnie the past two years.
