Woody Witkowski

Raymond Severn “Woody” Witkowski, of Albuquerque, New Mexico passed away on April 19, 2025, at the age of 83, surrounded by his loved one’s. Woody was born on May 11, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois to Severn and Cecilia (nee Mroczkowski) Witkowski. Woody was a United States Navy Veteran, serving two tours in Vietnam. During his deployment's he was assigned to several ships including the USS Mauna Kea and the USS New Jersey. He was also an avid sports fan who loved bowling and softball. Woody is survived by his wife Mary Ann (Garduno) Witkowski; children, Liz Archuleta (Matt) and Leslie Witkowski-Gallegos (Andrew); grandchildren, Ashley Davis (Jeremy), Manuel Rodriguez, Alyssa Gallegos and Marcos Witkowski (Zoey); siblings John and Joan; and many extended family and friends. Woody was preceded in death by his parents, Severn and Cecilia and brothers Frank and Paul.

Viewing will be Friday, May 9 from 10 am to 12 pm at Rivera Family Funeral Home, 417 East Rodeo Road, Santa Fe. His Funeral Service will follow at 12 pm with his burial in Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2 pm.
