Yadira Dominguez – Fierro 45 years old passed unexpectedly in the loving arms of her daughter Litzy Dominguez on the night of November 13, 2021, after a hopeful yet invincible battle with a still undiagnosed and aggressive kind of cancer. Yadira fought for one year and never once thought of giving up, she gave it her all till her last breath.
Like every cancer victim has their battle story Yadira’s was unique and meant to be heard. In 2020 she first experienced malpractice in the hospital where she went in for back pain and was sent with the news that it was just bone pain by doctors and nurses knowing she had several tumors in her spine. Later that year on August 24, 2020, Yadira was no longer was able to walk and was rushed to the hospital where she was finally told about the tumors and diagnosed with stage four cancer and a fracture in her spine where the cancer had eaten her bone away.
Later she began her journey of chemotherapy in Rust Medical Center where she received twelve rounds of two kind of chemotherapies. Things started looking up Yadira she seemed to be getting better and doing good on this treatment but later in the year of 2021 she was rushed to the hospital and given the news that the cancer had spread out even more. She than started an even more aggressive treatment of two chemotherapies for six rounds. Very positive and hopeful that just like the first twelve rounds these other six would help. God had other plans for her but regardless of all she was put through and went through Yadira was always hopeful and remained with a big smile on her face.
Yadira was a beautiful soul and loved by so many, she sure knew how to bring light to anyone’s life weather it would be making you laugh or just making sure you knew you were loved and not alone. She was very strong, humble, adventurous, and a hilarious person. She was unique and a great influence in our lives. She taught us to never give up and no matter the situation you are going through try to smile and see the positive in the bad. Yadira was the kind of person that was always there for others no matter what was going on. She was the kind of person you meet once, and you feel like you’ve known for a lifetime.
Yadira was born on June 3, 1976, in Chihuahua, Chihuahua Mexico where she was born to and raised by her parents Maria Oralia Fierro and Juan De Dios Dominguez. She is the sister of Juan, Servando, Iran, Morgan, Edy and Maricela Dominguez Fierro. Yadira is the loving mother of her two daughters Litzy and Kelly Dominguez. She was a hard worker of two jobs and a full-time mother to both as well. She worked hard every day of her life for her two daughters to give them a better life and a good education.
Yadira enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she loved and enjoyed seeing everyone come together and have a good time. She loved spending time outdoors whether it was to go camping or just having a field day somewhere by a lake or river. She loved to dance and always liked to enjoy good music with friends and family.
A genuine thank you to all family members, friends, and neighbors who cared and loved Yadira. To those who showed support and were there for her during this hard patch in her life where she needed it the most. God Bless all of you. We love you mom.
