Yvonne Marguerite Corey

Yvonne Marguerite Corey, age 85, of Los Alamos passed away after a lengthy struggle with Alzhemiers on Saturday, October 15, 20ll. She was born on December 16, l925 to Oscar and Agnes Gregoire in Manchester, NH. Before residing in Los Alamos, she had lived in Ohio, Las Vegas, NV, California, Greece, Panama. For the last 29 years she lived in Los Alamos and had worked at Silver and Stones and CB Fox where she enjoyed meeting and working with the public. Yvonne was an avid bridge player and loved ballroom dancing. She is proceeded in death by her husband of 34 years John F. Corey, her parents Oscar and Agnes Gregoire and 6 siblings. Surviving Yvonne are her brother, Gregory Gregoire ( Joan )of Portland, Maine; John F. Corey, Jr. of Santa Fe, Janice Littleton (Tom ) of Los Alamos, James Corey ( Anna) of Ohio, Judith McAnally of Washington. Seven grandchildren; Tara Corey, Seth (Becky) Littleton, Shane ( Stephanie) Littleton, Kristin and Derek Corey and Kelly and Melissa McAnally also eight great grandchildren, Hanna, Amy and Mia Littleton of Los Alamos, Mason, Luke, and Ella Littleton of Colorado, Alexis Johnson and Memphis Pitcock of Washington. Yvonne was a fun loving and gracious lady who always had a twinkle in her eyes. She will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. Private services will be held by the family.
