A full service funeral home situated in a convenient to the community office space, and managed by our compassionate and native of Los Alamos, Amber Pope, Rivera’s Los Alamos branch was opened in 2018 to provide convenient funeral and cremation planning for families on the hill. Our arrangement office and small chapel offer a warm and quiet atmosphere for families to gather, grieve, become educated about the funeral process, and create meaningful services and celebrations of life that honor the stories of the people who lived here. Los Alamos’s local cemetery, Guaje Pines, is exquisitely maintained by LA county and offers in-ground burials, a cremation columbarium, and tranquil views of the canyon and Jemez Mountains.
